Property valuation services for mbombela municipality lease portfolio review

Submit bids as follows:

• Download the bid document from 8 June 2026 via www.mbombela.gov.za (tenders and notices folder) or www.etenders.gov.za, free of charge.
• Seal completed bid documents and all required supporting documents in an envelope marked: "BID NO, COM67/2026: REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS (RFQ) FOR PROPERTY VALUATION SERVICE FROM THE REGISTERED PROFESSIONAL VALUERS TO PROVIDE THE CITY OF MBOMBELA WITH THE PROPERTY VALUATION FOR REVIEW AND RENEWAL OF ITS LEASE PORTFOLIO, CLOSING DATE: 18 JUNE 2026," with the bidder’s name.
• Place the envelope in the bid box at Mbombela Civic Centre, 1 Nel Street, Mbombela, before 11:00 on 18 June 2026.
• Bids submitted by telegram, fax, or email will not be considered. Late bids will not be accepted.
• Fraudulent activities or forging documents may result in being reported to SAPS and a 10-year restriction from doing business with public institutions, per the Prevention and Combating of Corrupt Activities Act (Sections 28 and 29).

Required documents: Certified ID copies of business directors, tax compliance status, certified B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, current municipal rates and taxes statements (or proof of residence/lease agreement with lessor’s statements), CSD registration full report, and company registration certificate.

Scope: Provision of property valuation services for the review and renewal of the City of Mbombela’s lease portfolio.

Bidders must be registered professional valuers.

Required supporting documents to be submitted with the bid:

• Certified ID copies of business directors.
• Copy of tax compliance status.
• Certified copy of B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit to claim B-BBEE points.
• Current municipal rates and taxes statements from the relevant local authority, or proof of residence from a tribal authority, or lease agreement accompanied by the lessor’s up-to-date municipal rates and taxes statements (for both the company and all its active directors, including JVs and consortia).
• CSD registration full report (summary reports will not be accepted).
• Copy of the company registration certificate.

Fraudulent activities or forging documents may result in being reported to SAPS and a 10-year restriction from doing business with public institutions, per Sections 28 and 29 of the Prevention and Combating of Corrupt Activities Act.

Evaluation under the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act and Preferential Procurement Regulations, 2022: 80 points for price, 20 points for specific targeted goals as per the City’s policy.
