The service provider is required to replace the current 2WD with a 4WD Chassis Dynamometer with 48 inch rollers and a movable wheelbase for the purpose of Emission tesƟng and Conformity of ProducƟon (CoP), which will include ICE, PHEV and EV vehicles. This must include the necessary restraint systems for passenger and light commercial vehicles. The service provider is required to supply, install, commission and integrate the 4WD Dyno with the current Horiba Mexa 7000 Series emission tesƟng equipment and Horiba STARS VETS AutomaƟon system. The service provider is also required to decommission and remove the current 2WD Dyno from the Dyno pit in Test Cell One (1) and place it in a suitable space within the laboratory. All modificaƟons of the current Dyno pit must be accommodated by the service provider. All civil work must be done by a registered building contractor. Delivery Terms: Incoterms® 2020 – Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) to SABS, 1a Teichmann Place, Sunnyridge, East London, 5201. The Supplier shall bear all costs and risks associated with delivering the goods to the specified locaƟon, including transportaƟon, insurance, customs clearance, import duƟes, and taxes. INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING The service provider is responsible for installaƟon and commissioning of the equipment and ensure that the equipment funcƟons as per the requirements. TRAINING The service provider is responsible for training the personnel in the laboratory and provision of the training manuals. WARRANTY The service provider shall provide a comprehensive warranty for the equipment for a period of 24 months from the date of commissioning.
