Use only the official forms provided (SBD1, SBD3.1, SBD4, SBD6.1) and do not re-type them. Ensure all required documents are signed and completed in full.

Submit bids in a sealed envelope marked with bid number (A49-2025/2026), description, bidder’s name/address, and closing date. Deposit in the tender box on the 8th Floor, JD House, 27 Stiemens Street, Braamfontein by 29 June 2026 at 12:00 (MTC clock). No late, faxed, emailed, or posted bids accepted. Submit 1 original + 2 copies, bound securely to prevent page loss. Bids from state employees or non-attendees of the compulsory briefing (05 June 2026, 11:00 via Microsoft Teams) will be disqualified. Courier submissions must be deposited in the tender box by the courier; proof of posting is not proof of delivery. Office hours: 08:00–16:00, Monday–Friday. Download bid documents free from www.etenders.gov.za, www.metrotech.co.za, or www.joburg.org.za. Ensure all administrative documents (MBD forms) are complete and signed. Bids must be submitted on official forms without re-typing or tampering.

Submit the completed Tender Document (including Form of Offer and Acceptance) and all required supporting documents in a sealed envelope. The envelope must clearly display: the tenderer’s name and address, Tender No. 260C/2025/26, tender title, Tender Box No. 216, and the closing date. Deposit the envelope into Tender Box 216 at the Tender & Quotation Box Office, 2nd Floor (Concourse Level), Civic Centre, 12 Hertzog Boulevard, Cape Town before 10:00am on 02 July 2026. If the tender is too large for the box or the box is full, seek alternative instructions at the public counter (Tender Distribution Office). Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, facsimile, or late tenders will not be accepted. Tenders must be submitted on the issued documentation. Printed Schedules of Rates may be submitted if they match the Employer’s format (layout, items, quantities).
