Document Management Guide

Complete guide to managing documents for tender applications on the Tenders-SA platform

Document Management Overview

This guide explains how to manage your company document vault on Tenders-SA. A complete, current document vault helps you move faster when preparing tender applications and reduces the risk of disqualification for missing or expired returnables.
Good document management practices keep your applications complete, compliant, and ready before deadlines. Upload core documents early, keep expiry dates current, and review document gaps before starting an application.

Using the Documents Dashboard

Document Statistics

The documents page shows quick stats for total documents, verified documents, documents expiring soon, and expired documents. Use these cards as a readiness check before starting applications.

Filters and Search

Use document type, expiry status, verification status, and search filters to quickly narrow your vault. This is useful when you need to confirm whether a required returnable is already uploaded.

Upload Shortcut

Use the Upload Document button to add new documents. On desktop, the page also supports the Ctrl+U or Cmd+U shortcut to open the upload dialog.
