Submit a sealed envelope containing the completed Tender Document (Form of Offer and Acceptance, supporting documentation, and returnable schedules) to Tender Box 244 at the Tender & Quotation Box Office, 2nd Floor (Concourse Level), Civic Centre, 12 Hertzog Boulevard, Cape Town by 10:00 on 10th June 2026. Label the envelope with your name, address, tender number (234Q/2025/26), title, tender box number, and closing date. If the box is full or the tender is too large, follow alternative instructions from the Tender Distribution Office. Late, emailed, faxed, telephonic, or telegraphic submissions are not accepted. Tenders must use the issued documentation. Printed Bills of Quantities may be submitted if they match the Employer’s electronic format. Attend the compulsory clarification meeting (hybrid: in-person at Mobility Boardroom, 18th Floor, 2 Bay Side, Civic Centre, or via MS Teams: ID 335 956 976 304 767, Passcode hu76WG9X) on 22nd May 2026 at 10:00. Scope: Construction of IRT Phase 2A, including left-aligned median and kerb-side stop infrastructure. Estimated CIDB Contractor Grading: 7GB. Work includes engineering, procurement, construction, and management as detailed in Parts C3.1–C3.5 of the Tender Data. Drawings provided on flash drive (no hard copies). Reference documents: Principal Building Agreement Edition 6.2 (May 2018, JBCC) and General Preambles for Trades 2017 (ASAQS).

Non-refundable tender fee: R300.00 (cash or EFT) payable upon document collection. Returnable documents include Performance Guarantee (C1.3) and Advance Payment Guarantee (C1.4) forms. Pricing must follow the Bills of Quantities format issued by the Employer. Payment terms and guarantees are governed by the Principal Building Agreement Edition 6.2.

Must be registered on the City of Cape Town Supplier Database and National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) as a service provider. Registration must be completed upon written request if not already registered. Joint Ventures: each party must register individually. Preference points apply per Preferential Procurement Regulations and SCM Policy (HDI/RDP goals). CIDB grading 7GB required. POPIA compliance required for processing personal information.
