• A site visit to your operating plant will be conducted as part of the evaluation.
• Bidders must demonstrate existing laundry operations serving at least 150 beds per day in the hospitality sector.

• Scope: Provide daily laundry services for 12 months to two rest camps in the Tsitsikamma Section of Garden Route National Park: Storms River Mouth Rest Camp (90 units, 229 beds) and De Vasselot Rest Camp (12 units, 24 beds).
• You must comply with SANS 10146-1:2020 (Laundry Process Management) and SANS 10146-2:2021 (Laundry Operational Management).
• Your operating plant must be within a 200 km radius of Storms River Mouth Rest Camp.
• You must have an existing laundry operation serving the hospitality sector with a capacity of at least 150 beds per day. Submit contracts or reference letters as proof.
• You must provide a contingency plan with your bid.
• Cleaning standards include: using proper laundry bags with sealing and labelling, disinfecting linen, transporting in sealed containers, removing all stains (blood, rust, mildew), ironing and folding linen, and special treatment for items like curtains.
• Collection and delivery: You are responsible for daily collection and delivery. At Storms River Mouth, deliver/collect by 12:00 daily. At Natures Valley, deliver/collect by 13:00 daily. During peak periods (Easter), you must provide a staff member to accompany the driver for counting and verification.
• You must provide a list of SABS-compliant cleaning chemicals and proof they meet health and safety regulations.
• No subcontracting is allowed.

• Provide daily laundry collection and delivery services.
• All previously collected linen must be delivered in full upon the next collection or upon special request.
• During peak tourism periods (Easter long weekend), provide a staff member daily to accompany the delivery driver for counting and verification at the camps.
• Deliveries at Storms River Mouth must be completed by 12:00 daily; at Natures Valley by 13:00 daily.
• Be prepared for ad hoc deliveries on short notice.
• Submit a deployment plan showing your operating plant infrastructure and capacity to provide daily services.
• Upon a site visit, you must present your machinery output per hour, staff, and schedules.

• You must comply with SANS 10146-1:2020 (Laundry Process Management) and SANS 10146-2:2021 (Laundry Operational Management).
• Linen must be disinfected during washing to meet high health and safety requirements.
• Cleaning chemicals must adhere to standards applicable to hospitals.
• You must provide proof that cleaning products are SABS compliant.
• Linen must be well presented (ironed and folded) upon delivery.
• Special treatment (e.g., dry cleaning) must be applied where required.

• Submit a completed pricing schedule with unit prices for all items listed in the RFQ.
• Items include various linen (bath towels, sheets, duvet covers, blankets) and other items (curtains, cushions, transport).
• Prices must be VAT exclusive; indicate VAT separately if applicable.
• Total amounts should be calculated excluding VAT, with VAT added for registered vendors.

• Submit a completed pricing schedule with your bid, quoting unit prices for all listed linen items (e.g., bath towels, sheets, duvet covers) and other items (e.g., curtains, transport).
• Prices must be VAT exclusive; indicate VAT separately if you are VAT registered.
• You are responsible for all price calculations; errors are at your own risk.
• Payment terms: SANParks will pay within 30 days of receiving a valid tax invoice, in accordance with the PFMA.
• You must have public liability insurance cover of at least R500,000, adjusted to cover the risk once appointed.
• You are liable for costs of lost or damaged linen due to your negligence or excessive chemical use.

• You must be registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD). Submit proof of registration.
• You must be tax compliant. Submit your SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN or a printed TCS certificate. If part of a consortium/JV, each party must submit separate proof.
• Submit a B-BBEE Status Level Verification Certificate or sworn affidavit (for EMEs & QSEs) to qualify for preference points.
• Complete and sign SBD4 (Declaration of Interest), disclosing any state employment, conflicts of interest, or relations with SANParks staff.
• Bidders who are persons in the service of the state, or companies with directors who are state employees, are not eligible.
• Foreign suppliers must complete a questionnaire; if they have no presence/income/tax liability in RSA, they do not need a SARS PIN but must be registered on CSD.
• You must comply with the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act and Regulations.

• Your workplace must comply with all regulations under the Health and Safety Act.
• You must use laundry bags that are properly sealed and clearly marked for soiled linen.
• Transparent bags must be used for stained linen (e.g., blood stains).
• Linen must be transported in sealed containers to prevent contamination.
• You must be knowledgeable of hospitality infection control protocols.
• Submit proof that cleaning products adhere to required health and safety regulations.
• Provide a contingency plan as part of your bid.

• The contract duration is 12 months.
• The successful bidder must be ready to start within 7 days of award.
• SANParks may cancel the contract within 14 days if non-compliance with specifications continues after consultation.
• You must count, sort, and record all linen under supervision at your plant, and SANParks may request CCTV footage as proof.
• You are liable for losses once linen leaves SANParks' site and must have public liability cover of at least R500,000.
• You must replace linen damaged due to negligence or excessive chemical use at your cost.
• Monthly invoicing is required.
• SANParks will hold quarterly meetings to discuss performance and may terminate the contract for sub-standard services.
• Discrepancies in linen counts must be reported within 24 hours.
