• Bids must be placed in the tender box at 40 Heronmere Road, Reuven, Booysens (Tender Advice Centre).\n No emailed or faxed submissions will be accepted.\n Required returnable documents:\n – Proof of CIDB grading 4SI or 4ME (or higher).\n – Valid COIDA certificate issued by the Department of Labour.\n – OEM letter or certificate confirming installer is authorised and accredited to install, test and commission the lift system (if supplier is OEM, ISO certificates must be in the OEM’s name).\n – Electrical contractor registration for wiring and electrical components of the lifts.\n – Completed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) with prices for all items; failure to quote on every BOQ item will result in a non‑responsive bid.

• Evaluation is conducted in three stages:\n 1. Functional evaluation – total score 100 %; minimum threshold to pass 80 %.\n 2. Price evaluation – weighted 80 % of the overall score.\n 3. B‑BBEE evaluation – weighted 20 % of the overall score.\n B‑BBEE points are awarded as follows (maximum 20 points):\n – 5 points for ≥51 % black ownership.\n – 5 points for ≥30 % black‑female ownership.\n – 5 points for ≥51 % black‑youth ownership.\n – 5 points for Exempt Micro‑Enterprise (EME) status with ≥51 % black ownership.\n Points are only awarded on submission of valid, certified B‑BBEE certificates/affidavits not older than three months.\n* Bidders scoring below the 80 % functional threshold are disqualified before price and B‑BBEE weighting are applied.
