The City of Mbombela intends to host a live-streamed and broadcast presentation of the

State of the City Address on 26 June 2026. The event will be delivered from the Mbombela

Civic Centre (main venue) and broadcast to seven (7) locations, namely:

• Matsulu
• Pienaar
• KaNyamazane
• Nsikazi
• Hazyview
• Barberton
• Mbombela stadium

The programme aims to ensure community participation during the Executive Mayor’s State

of the City Address. The Executive Mayor will deliver the keynote address from Mbombela

Council Chambers, which must be broadcast in real time to all above-mentioned venues.

2. Objective

The objective of this assignment is to appoint a qualified and experienced Audio-Visual (AV)

Service Provider to:

• Deliver seamless live streaming of the Executive Mayor’s address
• Ensure high-quality visual and audio experience across all venues
• Capture professional multimedia content (video and photography)

3.1 Audio-Visual Setup

The successful bidder will be required to:

• Supply and install two (2) 70-inch LCD screens at each venue (seven (7) venues), as

well as one (1) additional 3x2m LED screen at the main venue (theatre), for a total of

sixteen (15) screens.

• Ensure compatibility with Public Address (PA) systems provided by other appointed

service providers at all locations.

• Provide all necessary AV infrastructure including:

o Video switchers

o Signal converters

o Cabling and distribution systems

o Backup power solutions where necessary

• Provide high-quality live streaming from Mbombela to:

3.3 Audio Integration
