Request to appoint a service provider for DSTV service and repairs at Chris Hani Village (11 blocks). Work includes replacing LNBs, multi-switches, F connectors, dishes, fixing wiring, optimizing signals, relocating dishes, and running new cabling. Scope: DSTV service and repairs across 11 blocks at Chris Hani Village. Work per block includes: replacing LNBs, multi-switches, F connectors (with anti-loose types), dishes, and fixing 'spaghetti' wiring. Additional tasks: signal optimization, cable tracing, relocating dishes, running new cabling, and sorting cables. Note: Some multi-switches are incorrectly installed (individual residential types instead of communal use). All work must use quality components to prevent loosening or disconnection.

Pricing must include all costs and sundries. A 10% contingency amount (VAT inclusive) is required. Pricing should be submitted on company letterhead.

Termination may occur if the contractor: fails to proceed with work, does not comply timeously with instructions, or fails to remedy defaults within the specified period. The employer may terminate forthwith in such cases.

EHC reserves the right to: award the bid in part or full, reject all bids, request post-closing technical information, verify bidder documentation, withdraw/amend bid conditions, and remedy incorrect awards lawfully. Due diligence may include announced/unannounced site visits. Bidders acknowledge POPIA compliance for personal information processing.
