Current use was accommodation for workers. • Proposed Use: Mixed use / Offices. Available from 01 April 2026 in the Container Terminal precinct. • Exclusions: Handling/storage of hazardous chemicals, staging of trucks, storage of fertilizers, truck refueling stations, contained handling depots. No dust minerals stored in open areas. Use must comply with all relevant laws. • Bidder Obligations: - Successful bidder must undertake necessary refurbishment, repairs, upgrades, and capital improvements at own cost to make premises fit for purpose. - Beneficial occupation may be negotiated if justified in Business Plan and approved by TNPA; bidder liable for all property holding costs during this period. - Bidders must inspect the property prior to submission; TNPA accepts no liability for failure to inspect. • Green Economy: Transnet seeks understanding of bidder's environmental commitments regarding waste disposal, recycling, and energy conservation. • General: Bidder fully responsible for acts/omissions of its personnel and must comply with all RFP requirements.
