β’ The service provider is initially appointed for a 6-month probationary period. β’ Performance will be assessed within the first 3 months; the employer will notify the service provider of satisfaction or shortcomings. β’ If performance is unsatisfactory after 6 months, the employer may terminate the contract immediately, with the service provider only entitled to compensation for work completed. β’ The service provider may not enter into partnerships, joint ventures, or associations for performing the services without the employerβs prior written consent. β’ The service provider must acquaint itself with all legislative and professional body requirements relevant to the contract and provide proof of compliance to the employer.
β’ Submit the tender offer using the form of offer and acceptance (part c1.1). β’ Include the schedule of deviations if any changes to the tender documents are proposed. β’ Return one copy of the signed document including the schedule of deviations to the employer before the period of validity stated in the tender data. β’ The tenderer becomes the contractor upon acceptance by the employer. β’ Failure to fulfil obligations (e.g., Providing securities, bonds, guarantees, proof of insurance) within two weeks of receiving the agreement may constitute repudiation.
β’ Submit one original bid document plus one memory stick (USB) containing a duplicate of the original submission. β’ Deliver to: the procurement manager, nersa, kulawula house, 526 madiba street, arcadia, pretoria. β’ The original bid must be fully completed and signed in ink. Do not retype or convert the document to word format. β’ The memory stick must be sealed in a closed envelope. Non-submission of the memory stick may lead to disqualification. β’ Bids must be submitted in pdf format, bound in a sealed envelope clearly endorsed with: bid number NERSA/2627/CSM/TS/BID008, closing date and time (monday, 06 july 2026 at 11:00), and the bidder's name and address. β’ Bidders must sign a tender register at the reception when dropping off bids. Arrive timeously to allow for security procedures. β’ Late bids will not be considered. The tender box is locked at exactly 11:00. Use telkom time (dial 1026) as the official reference. β’ Bids received via post are deemed received only upon arrival at nersa premises. Late arrivals will be returned unopened. β’ Required returnable documents include: national treasury csd registration summary report, SARS tax compliance status pin letter, bidderβs disclosure, preference points claim form, b-bbee certificate or sworn affidavit, invitation to bid, special conditions of bid and contract, technical proposal, cvs of proposed team members, and reference letters.
β’ Submit sealed bids clearly marked with tender number, title, closing date and time. β’ Place in the tender box at municipal civic centre, 319 stateway, welkom by 14:00 on thursday 09 july 2026. β’ Hand delivery only; faxed, emailed or late tenders will not be accepted. β’ Complete original tender document must be returned fully in black ink, signed by authorized signatory. β’ Do not retype documents or make unauthorized alterations; this will cause disqualification. β’ Include all compulsory documentation: tax compliance status letter and pin, CIDB certificate (if applicable), municipal accounts for bidder and directors, proof of csd registration, quality management certifications, cipc annual returns, company profile, all mbd forms, declaration and contract form. β’ Joint ventures must submit joint venture agreement and individual member documents. β’ Failure to submit required documents or attend compulsory site/information meetings (if specified) will result in disqualification.
