Submission Guidelines
Source: Advert C13-2025.pdfQuotations must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the quotation number indicated on the front to the address: CENTLEC (Soc) Ltd, Supply Chain Management Offices, 30 Rhodes Avenue, Oranjesig, Bloemfontein, 9301. The following documents must be submitted: one reference letter where similar work was completed, the quotation on the letterhead of your business, neatly bound bid/proposal documents, a copy of the company registration documents, a valid original Tax Clearance Certificate or SARS PIN, and a CSD report with certified ID copy/copies of the company owner(s). Failure to submit these documents may result in disqualification.
Evaluation Criteria
Source: Advert C13-2025.pdfThe quotation will be evaluated in terms of the 80/20 preference point system as prescribed in the Preferential Procurement Policy Regulations 2022. The specified goals for preferential points are: 50% Black owned (5 points), 50% Women owned (5 points), 50% Youth owned <35 years (5 points), and Locality (5 points). The total points allocated are 20.
Technical Specifications
Source: Advert C13-2025.pdfThe scope of work includes the repair of three fiber optic cables: between Botshabelo B and Botshabelo K Distribution Centers, within the yard at Parkwest DC, and at Willows DC. The work includes replacement of dome joints, splicing of fibers, and OTDR testing. The fiber optic cables must be installed in existing cable trenches, and the HDPE pipe must be installed within the cable trenches.
