Scope: Repairs, Renovations & Rehabilitation (RRR) of Grey Hospital for a 36-month contract. Contract based on JBCC Edition 6.2. Work includes general building (GB) with CIDB grading 9GB or higher required. Approximately 30% of subcontracting must be allocated to SMMEs (25% local SMMEs, 5% ICDP contractors). Technical specifications, drawings, and Construction Health and Safety Specifications are provided in Annexures 1-7. EPWP requirements and specifications apply. Occupational Health and Safety Specification and Baseline Risk Assessment must be adhered to. All trades listed in the Bills of Quantities or Pricing Schedule must be priced (except provisional sums and allowances). Equivalent or better materials may be substituted for specified brand names.

Pricing must be in South African Rands (ZAR). Include all duties, taxes (except VAT), and levies applicable 14 days before closing time. VAT must be shown separately at 15% if applicable. Rates and prices must be fixed for the contract duration. Tender security: Not specified (marked as N/A in document). Performance Bond/Guarantee/Surety/Security must be submitted within 21 days of appointment. Payment terms and contract conditions are governed by JBCC Edition 6.2. For joint ventures: all members must be CIDB-registered in GB class; lead partner must be 8GB or higher; combined grading must meet 9GB or higher. Compulsory Enterprise Questionnaire must be completed. SBD 4 (Declaration of Interest) must be fully completed and signed. SBD 6.1 (Preference Point Claim) must be completed to claim B-BBEE points. Proof of registration with Compensation Fund or licensed insurer. POPIA consent form required. Bidders must be in good standing with SARS.
