Source: TN002-2026-Final.pdfSubmit sealed bids clearly marked "APPOINTMENT OF CONTRACTORS FOR THE CLEANING AND REMOVAL OF REFUSE UNTIL 30 JUNE 2027" to the Municipal Tender Box at Dawid Kruiper Municipality, Civic Centre, Mutual Street, Upington, 8800, by 14:00 on Friday, 13 March 2026. Late bids will not be accepted. Only original signed documents are valid; fax or email submissions are not permitted. Complete all required forms: Summary of Items and Bid Price, MBD 1, MBD 4, MBD 6.1, MBD 7.1, MBD 8, and MBD 9. Incomplete, altered, or modified documents will be disqualified. Source: TN002-2026-Final.pdfScope: Cleaning, collection, and disposal of waste in Upington, Louisvaleweg, Louisvale Dorp, Lesideng, Ntsikelelo, Leerkrans, Karos, Lambrechtsdrift, Raaswater, Kalksloot, and Melkstroom. Contractor must collect all illegally dumped waste in open areas, along roads, and between erven (excluding private erven) and dispose of it at the nearest waste disposal site. Contractor must assist the Municipality in preventing and prosecuting illegal dumping offenders. Responsibilities: Use a bakkie with cattle rails or a truck with a sail to prevent waste from falling off; vehicle must have a valid license and be roadworthy. Contractor is responsible for vehicle maintenance, fuel, and workers. Remove refuse once a week and dump it at the local landfill site. Keep all earmarked areas clean; monthly inspections will verify cleanliness before payments are made. Contract duration: 01 April 2026 to 30 June 2027. Municipality reserves the right to appoint one or more contractors per area.
