1. Supply and install high‑quality burglar bars (Jumatrell or approved equivalent) on doors and windows of staff houses, offices, chalets, ablution blocks, stores and other operational buildings within the Tsitsikamma section.
2. Contractor provides all labour, materials, tools, equipment, transport, supervision and incidentals.
3. Site assessment and measurement must be carried out for each instruction; final sizes are based on actual measurements.
4. Bars to be fabricated from mild steel (or approved proprietary system), 12 mm square/round, with continuous welds, anti‑rust primer and powder‑coated or enamel finish (colour to be confirmed).
5. Installation must use tamper‑resistant fasteners, be level, plumb and securely fixed to masonry, concrete, timber or steel frames.
6. Emergency escape windows require lockable or quick‑release mechanisms and must meet fire‑safety regulations.
7. Quality control: no damage to existing structures, touch‑up paint as needed, site clean‑up, and rectification of any non‑conforming work at contractor’s cost.
8. Compliance with local building regulations, fire and safety standards, and manufacturer installation guidelines.
9. Contract duration: one (1) year term, work ordered on an as‑and‑when required basis via written SANParks instructions.
10. Bill of Quantities is provisional; rates will be applied to the closest size item for payment.
