The city of cape town invites bids for the manufacture, testing, supply, and delivery of large frame moulded case circuit breakers over a 36-month contract period. Open to all legally constituted entities including companies, close corporations, partnerships, joint ventures, consortia, sole proprietors, and individuals. Tenderers must: be registered on CCT Supplier Database and National Treasury CSD; comply with CCT SCM Policy and applicable laws; avoid conflicts of interest; have capacity to deliver; submit all required returnable documents; and comply with specification requirements. The CCT intends to appoint two tenderers per item from different manufacturers where possible.
Scope: Manufacture, testing, supply, and delivery of Large Frame Moulded Case Circuit Breakers. Contract period: 36 months from commencement date. The CCT reserves the right to appoint two tenderers per item (Main Contractor and Alternative Contractor). If the Main Contractor fails to meet delivery or specification requirements, orders may be redirected to the Alternative Contractor.
Tender fee: R200 (non-refundable, payable to City of Cape Town for hard copies; not applicable for website downloads). Payment terms and guarantees: Pro-forma documents include Performance Security/Guarantee (Annexure C), Advance Payment Guarantee (Annexure D). Contract Price Adjustment provisions are outlined in Schedule F.1.
