Submit hard copies in a sealed envelope marked with: Bid Number (COM55/2026), Bid Description, and Closing Date. Include the bidder’s name on the envelope. Deposit the envelope in the bid box at Mbombela Civic Centre, 1 Nel Street, Mbombela, before 11:00 on 21 May 2026. Submissions via email, fax, or telegram will be disqualified. Late bids will not be accepted. Fraudulent activities or forged documents may result in criminal charges and a 10-year restriction from public sector business.

80/20 preferential point system: 80 points for price, 20 points for specific targeted goals (as per the City’s Preferential Procurement Policy and the Preferential Procurement Regulations, 2022). Allocation follows the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act.

Supply and delivery of various seedlings for the Mbombela Community Work Programme (CWP) across all wards within the City’s jurisdiction.

Mandatory documents to submit with the bid: Certified copy of Tax Compliance Status, B-BBEE Certificate (or Sworn Affidavit for B-BBEE), CSD Registration Full Report (summary reports rejected), Company Registration Certificate (CIPC), and proof of residence or current municipal rates/taxes statement (not older than 3 months) for both the business and its directors. If leasing, provide a lease agreement with up-to-date municipal rates/taxes statement from the relevant local authority.
