RFQ for design, supply and delivery of 3d printed renewable energy models

Submit the following returnable documents:

• Design drawings for ARC approval within 10 business days before 3D printing begins. Printing without approval will result in disqualification.
• Samples or images of previously produced 3D printed models.
• Basic user instructions and support contact details upon delivery.

Bidders must: comply with all detailed specifications including dimensions, portability, color accuracy, and features; submit design drawings within 10 business days for ARC review and approval; use durable, high-quality materials; provide a minimum 6-month warranty; submit samples/portfolio of previously produced 3D printed models; and provide technical support documentation. Non-compliance with any special condition results in disqualification.

Scope and deliverables:

• Design, size, and draw a portable 3D model combining:
• Cross-section of a biogas digester connected to a farmhouse.
• Cross-section of a borehole and its pump house with a solar panel array.
• A wind turbine.
• Farm landscape with a kraal (10 cattle), planted fields, and roads.
• Must be in colour, portable, lightweight (max footprint: 750x500x30mm), with a base and handles on all four sides.
• Final design requires ARC approval before 3D printing.
• Design, size, and draw a separate 3D model of a biogas digester:
• Cross-section of a brick-and-mortar digester showing inlet, digester, and outlet.
• Must be in colour, portable, lightweight (max footprint: 200x200x10mm), stable, and self-supporting.
• Final design requires ARC approval before 3D printing.
• 3D print, supply, and deliver the above models.

Reference figures (for clarity):

• Biogas digester: Follow the detail style of Figure 1 (no labels required).
• Borehole: Similar to Figure 2, with a simplified submersible pump, pump house (back, sides, top), and adjacent solar panel array.
• Wind turbines: Three units, anchored and immovable (Figure 3).
• Overall model style: Similar to Figure 4.
• Biogas digester model (standalone): Front (Figure 5) and rear (Figure 6) examples provided.
