No paper submissions are accepted for e-tendering. • Ensure the tender is finalised and submitted before the closing date and time. The system will not allow changes or submissions after the deadline. • Complete and submit all mandatory tender returnables by the closing date and time. Missing mandatory documents will result in disqualification. • For e-tendering, upload documents into the relevant folders (Technical, Commercial, Financial) as indicated on the e-tendering page. • Ensure all documents are accessible, not corrupt, and readable for evaluation. • Tenders must be submitted in English. Written tenders must be completed in ink, not pencil. • Sign the tender electronically. The signatory will be held liable for the tender. • Tender validity period is 12 weeks from the closing date. You may be requested to extend validity; refusal will lead to exclusion. • Attend the non-compulsory clarification meeting and compulsory site walk. Failure to attend the compulsory site walk will result in disqualification. • All communication must be in writing to the Eskom Representative only. • Scope: Design, manufacture, installation, and commissioning of a new sulphuric acid bulk tank at Duvha Power Station North Cooling Water Treatment Plant, including associated pipework, valves, civil repairs, and structural works. • Tank design: Manufacture according to drawings 057/21873 Rev1 and 0.57 02649 Rev5, complying with PD 5500, SANS 347 (Category 1), and Pressure Equipment Regulations. • Tank specifications: Volume 22 m³, diameter 2220 mm, height 7180 mm, design pressure 258 kPa, design temperature 50°C, media 98% sulphuric acid. • Materials: Shell and heads EN 10028 P265GH or similar; forgings EN 10222 P245GH; piping EN 10216; gaskets non-asbestos; internals as applicable. • Corrosion protection: External corrosion protection per GE/MAT/24/089. Internal corrosion allowance: shell 3 mm, head 3 mm, internals 6 mm. • Welding and inspection: Contractor must have ISO 3834-2 certification. All welds 100% X-ray inspected. • Included components: Supply and install plug valves, desiccant dryer and breather, level probe with local display, all pipework (to EN 13480) and valves within battery limits. • Level indication: Hydrostatic pressure transmitter (like Hartman & Braun AMD220) with 4-20 mA output interfacing with WTP DCS via remote I/O cubicle 20KP01. Local display unit outside bund area with alarms. • Civil and structural works: Refurbish access platforms, repair reinforced concrete bund, plinths, catch pit, offloading bay, manholes, and sludge launder.
