Gas types and quantities per location: (1) Empangeni: Oxy Tec Cyl 11.5kg (75 refills/year), Handigas Cyl 48kg (15 refills/year), Sulfur Hexafluoride (SF6) Cyl 50kg (2 refills/year). Rentals: Oxygen Cyl 11.5kg (75 cylinders), Handigas Cyl 48kg (15 cylinders), SF6 Cyl 50kg (2 cylinders). (2) Richards Bay: Oxygen Cyl 11.5kg (30 refills/year), Handigas Cyl 48kg (8 refills/year), Handigas Cyl 9kg (6 refills/year). Rentals: Oxygen Cyl 11.5kg (30 cylinders), Handigas Cyl 48kg (8 cylinders), Handigas Cyl 9kg (6 cylinders). (3) Vryheid: Handigas Cyl 9kg (4 refills/year), SF6 Cyl 9kg (4 refills/year), SF6 Cyl 50kg (1 refill/year). Rentals: Handigas Cyl 9kg (4 cylinders), SF6 Cyl 9kg (4 cylinders), SF6 Cyl 50kg (1 cylinder). Pricing must be in ZAR, inclusive of VAT, and firm for the contract duration. Quantities are estimates; orders will be 'as and when required'.

Pricing: Submit separate Price Schedules for Empangeni, Richards Bay, and Vryheid. Each schedule must price all items (failure to do so results in disqualification). Prices must be quoted in ZAR, inclusive of VAT, and kept firm for the contract duration. Payment terms and bonds/guarantees are not explicitly stated. Transnet may negotiate market-related prices post-tender if the highest scorer’s price is not competitive.
