Submit a sealed tender, clearly marked with the tender number (TD 03/06/2026) and description, to the Municipal tender box at 26 Church/Kerk Street, Oudtshoorn by 12h00 on 10 July 2026. Tenders will be opened publicly immediately after at the Supply Chain Management Office, 26 Church/Kerk Street, Oudtshoorn. A fully completed set of original tender documents must be submitted and remain valid for 120 days after the closing date. Tender documents cost R382.00 (VAT incl.) for hard copies (issued only upon payment receipt at SCM Offices) or are free via PDF email. Evaluation follows the 80/20 Preference Point System under the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (2022) and Oudtshoorn Municipality’s SCM Policy. Points are allocated as follows: Price (80 points), B-BBEE (10 points), Locality (10 points for suppliers within Oudtshoorn Municipality, 5 for Garden Route, 2 for Western Cape Province, 0 otherwise). Open to all suppliers except persons in the service of the state. Registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) is mandatory.

Supply and delivery of specialized Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for a period ending 30 June 2028. Scope includes meeting the PPE requirements of the Traffic Department, Law Enforcement, and Fire Department as per their specifications.

Mandatory registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) – register online at www.csd.gov.za. B-BBEE compliance is required and contributes 10 points to the evaluation. Bids from persons in the service of the state are ineligible.

The Municipality reserves the right to withdraw, re-advertise, or reject any tender. It is not obligated to accept the lowest bid or award to the highest scorer. Projects may not materialize.

No bids from persons in the service of the state will be considered for award.
