The evaluation criteria are as follows: Stage 1A - Mandatory Requirements; Stage 1B - Other Technical Mandatory Requirements; Stage 1C - Other Mandatory Requirements; Stage 2 - Price (80) and Specific Goals (20). The 80/20 preference point system will be used. A maximum of 80 points is allocated for price and 20 points for specific goals.

The technical specifications include: Mobile Column Lift with minimum loading capacity of 7,500 kg per lift; electro-mechanically driven lift mechanism; wireless communication between lifts; 230 Volt system; Li-ion batteries; independent mechanical locking device; 12-month equipment warranty and 5-year warranty on the lifting mechanism; Mobile Support Stand with carrying capacity of 7500 kg per stand. The bidder will be responsible for onsite training and a bolt-on maintenance contract for a period of five years.

Prices must be quoted in South African Rand on a fixed price basis, including all applicable taxes. The price offer is firm and must clearly indicate the basis thereof. A cost breakdown and price escalation basis and formula must be indicated.

The bidder must ensure compliance with their tax obligations. A valid tax clearance certificate or SARS issued pin is required. The bidder must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD). B-BBEE Level 1 or 2 is required, with 20 points allocated for specific goals.
