Submit sealed bids in an envelope endorsed with the tender number and project name. Deposit in the Tender Box at Nkandla Municipal Offices, Lot 292 Maree Road, Nkandla, by 11:00 on 03 June 2026. Bids must use the municipality-provided documentation. Late, incomplete, unsigned, faxed, or emailed bids will be rejected. Bids remain valid for 90 days from closing date. Courier delays are the bidder’s responsibility. Mandatory documents must be submitted as listed in the tender document to proceed to the next stage.

Evaluation follows a 3-stage process: 1) Compliance to mandatory requirements — failure to comply results in disqualification. 2) Functionality — 100 points, minimum 70 points required to proceed. 3) Preferential Points System (80/20) — 80 points for price, 20 points for specific goals (RDP Goals). The amended PPPFA 2022 regulations apply.

Appointment of a panel of service providers for plant hire (Grader, Roller, TLB, Tipper Truck, Water Tanker, Excavator) for 36 months. Annual performance screening applies. Detailed specifications are contained in the tender document.

Non-refundable bid document fee: R772.00 (inclusive of VAT). Payment must be made at the Municipal Finance Department or deposited into FNB Account No: 62720610717, Branch 220930. Use company name and bid number as reference. Bids must remain valid for 90 days from closing date (03 June 2026).

Mandatory documents must be submitted as listed in the tender document. Bidders restricted from doing business with the state or listed in the default register are prohibited. Bidders with tax matters not in order will be disqualified.
