Requirements: (1) Service provider must have offices or affiliations at all domestic airports: O.R. Tambo (Johannesburg), King Shaka (Durban), Cape Town International, Chief Dawid Stuurman (Gqeberha). (2) Capability to collect all e-waste and ensure proper disposal. (3) Provide detailed process for e-waste purchase/offer. (4) Supply certificates of destruction post-collection. (5) Compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and 27001 (mandatory for decommissioning process). (6) Ability to handle: computers, laptops, mobile phones, tablets, printers, scanners, cameras, networking equipment, telephones, lithium batteries, speakers, electronic cables/chargers, routers, televisions.
Pricing must be exclusive of VAT. All prices must be firm (fixed, subject only to VAT changes). Pricing should be itemized per component based on technical/functional requirements. Service, pricing, and availability will be considered. Payment subject to SAA Conditions of Contract and Order. No goods/services to be delivered without an official purchase order/contract.
Mandatory documents: (1) Valid membership certificate/confirmation from the Institute of Waste Management of Southern Africa. (2) Valid accreditation/audit confirmation from the e-Waste Association of South Africa. (3) Valid Waste Management License from the relevant environmental authority. B-BBEE: Level 1-2 (10 points), 30%+ Black Women Owned (10 points). Acceptable evidence: B-BBEE Certificate, Sworn Affidavit, or CIPC Certificate (consolidated scorecard for JVs). EME/QSE: 51% Black Owned requires B-BBEE Certificate, Sworn Affidavit, or CIPC Certificate. Tax Clearance: Valid Original Tax Clearance Certificate must be on file with SAA or submitted with the bid. Failure to comply with any mandatory requirement results in disqualification.
