• Scope of Work: Provision of maintenance and repairs for the Booster Pump House at George Airport.
• Key Requirement: Tenderers must possess a valid CIDB contractor grading of 1 ME or higher.
• Experience Needed: The bidder must demonstrate relevant experience in Pump Maintenance. Reference letters from clients detailing the work, value, dates, and performance are required for evaluation.
• Key Personnel: The bid must include details for an Artisan and an Artisan Assistant, with specific experience and qualification requirements (e.g., trade test, matric/N2 Mechanical Engineering).

• Pricing must be fixed for the full duration of the contract; no price adjustments or foreign fluctuations are allowed.
• All duties and taxes (except VAT) must be included in the rates and prices. VAT must be shown separately as an addition to the total price.
• Rates and prices must be stated in South African Rand (ZAR).
• The successful bidder will be required to provide proof of insurance and a valid letter of good standing with the Compensation Commissioner (COIDA) before the contract is signed.

• Central Supplier Database (CSD): Registration is mandatory. No award will be made to a supplier not registered on the CSD.
• Tax Compliance: Bidders must be in good standing with SARS. Provide your Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN or CSD number. Failure to do so may invalidate your bid.
• B-BBEE: Preference points are awarded based on your B-BBEE Status Level (Level 1 scores 5 points). Proof must be provided via a sworn affidavit or a SANAS-accredited B-BBEE certificate.
• CIDB Registration: A valid CIDB contractor grading of 1 ME or higher is a mandatory requirement.
• Insurance and COIDA: The contract will not be signed without valid insurance and a valid letter of good standing from the Compensation Commissioner.
