Required documents: Quotation on company letterhead, completed and signed SBD 4 (Declaration of Interest), SBD 1 (Invitation to Bid - Parts A & B), POPIA consent form, SBD 6.1 (Preference Points Claim Form), and copy of CSD Report or MAAA Number. Quotations must cover all requested items and quantities; partial quotes will be invalidated. All costs for bid preparation are the responsibility of the bidder.

Evaluation follows the 80/20 Preferential Procurement Regulations 2022 system. Price accounts for 80 points (inclusive of VAT). Specific Goals account for 20 points, broken down as: 10 points for Black Owned Enterprises with 51% or more ownership (proof: CSD Report/B-BBEE Certificate/Affidavit), and 10 points for enterprises located in eThekwini Municipality (proof: utility bill/lease agreement/proof of residence signed by a Ward Councilor). Failure to submit the SBD 6.1 form or required proofs will result in zero points for Specific Goals. Only compliant bids will proceed to price and preference evaluation.

Supply and deliver the following items: 1) 5 x 14-inch laptops (similar to HP ProBook 440 G10) with Windows 11 Enterprise, Intel i5 Processor, 8GB RAM, 500GB SSD, Wi-Fi & LAN, USB, HDMI, Mic, C-type ports, and C-type power adapter. Minimum 24-month and maximum 36-month onsite warranty required. 2) 4 x Wireless Mouse. 3) 4 x 65W laptop charger. Quoting on fewer items or quantities will invalidate your quotation.

Pricing must be inclusive of all applicable taxes (including VAT). No additional financial guarantees or bonds are specified. Payment terms and schedules are not detailed in the document. Tax compliance will be verified via CSD or SARS eFiling prior to award. Non-compliance with tax obligations will disqualify the bidder.

Mandatory compliance requirements: Proof of registration on CSD (Central Supplier Database) or SARS PIN.
