King sabata dalindyebo local municipality seeks accredited service providers to develop an electricity infrastructure database, including planning and design, over a 4-month period. This tender is part of a re-advertised technical services procurement under the municipalityβs SCM policy.

Bids must be hand-delivered; submissions by fax, mail, or electronic means (including copies) will not be accepted. Late, incomplete, or unsigned bids will be disqualified. Tender documents are available for free download from: National Treasuryβs tender portal (http://www.etenders.gov.za/content/advertised-tenders) and King Sabata Dalindyebo Municipality website (www.ksd.gov.za) from 5 June 2026. No hard copies are available for sale. Bids must be filled in black pen (not typed). Use of erasing fluids is prohibited. All alterations in prices/quotes must be signed. Bids must remain valid for 90 days. Queries must be submitted via email only; no queries will be entertained 5 working days before the closing date. Compulsory briefing sessions (if applicable) must be attended; failure to attend will disqualify the bid. Returnable documents: MBD 1 to MBD 9 and Annexures A to F (fully completed), JV agreement (if applicable), municipal rates statement (not older than 3 months), lease agreement (if applicable), confirmation of non-liability for municipal rates (if applicable), directors' municipal rates statements, certified copies of documents (not older than 6 months), audited financial statements (if bid exceeds R10 million or CIDB Level 6+).
Scope: Development of an electricity infrastructure database, including planning and design, for a period of 4 months. Deliverables and technical standards are detailed in the tender document (available for download from etenders.gov.za or www.ksd.gov.za).
Pricing schedule must be completed, and the total cost must match the bid price on the front page. For bids amounting to or exceeding R10 million (VAT inclusive), submit audited financial statements for the past 3 years (or since establishment if less than 3 years). CIDB Level 6 or higher bidders must submit audited financial statements for the past 3 years if eligible for work allocation exceeding R10 million. All certified copies must not be older than 6 months.
Mandatory: Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration. CIDB grading (relevant to the service). B-BBEE compliance: Minimum Level 6. Submit: MBD 1-9 and Annexures A-F (fully completed), JV agreement (if applicable), municipal rates statements (not older than 3 months), lease agreement (if applicable), confirmation of non-liability for municipal rates (if applicable), directors' municipal rates statements, certified copies of documents (not older than 6 months). KSD Municipality reserves the right to disqualify bidders with outstanding municipal rates/taxes or non-compliant submissions.
