• Scope: Construction of sanitation facilities at Nqwiliso Senior Secondary School, OR Tambo District, Eastern Cape, under the Sanitation 60 Programme.
• Contractor grading requirement: CIDB 4GB or higher.
• Contract duration: 24 weeks from commencement to practical completion. Penalties: R2,000 per calendar day for late completion, capped at 10% of contract value.
• Local participation: 5% of construction value must be set aside for local SMMEs and suppliers within the project area. Bidders must include costs for engaging, supervising, and managing SMMEs in their pricing.

• Pricing: Fixed rates for the contract duration, not subject to adjustment (except as per contract conditions). All pricing must be in black ink.
• Bill of Quantities (Part C2.2) must be completed accurately. Arithmetic errors will be corrected during evaluation (line totals govern over unit rates).
• Bid Bond/Guarantee: Form of Guarantee (Part C1.3) must be submitted as part of the returnable documents.
• Insurance: Tenderers must provide their own insurance for the works, public liability, and injuries/diseases. The Mvula Trust will not provide insurance.
