Scope: Installation of a PV Solar System at Tweede Tol Campsite, Limietberg Nature Reserve. Contract documents include: JBCC Minor Works Agreement (May 2018 Edition 5.2) and JBCC General Preliminaries (May 2018 Edition 6.2). SANS Standardized Specification for Civil and Electrical Engineering Construction applies. Project specifications include: Description of Works, Environmental Specification, Electrical Specification, and Site Information. Drawings and Bills of Quantities are provided. Tenderers must purchase JBCC and SANS documents themselves. Work must comply with all referenced standards and specifications.
Pricing must be in Rand, fixed for the contract duration, and include all duties, taxes (excluding VAT), and levies applicable 14 days before closing. VAT must be shown separately. Submit completed Pricing Schedule in PDF and Excel format. Performance Guarantee (Pro forma) required as per C1.19βC1.21. Payment terms and bonds will be as per the JBCC Minor Works Agreement and Contract Data. Tenderers must ensure pricing is competitive and accurate, as arithmetic errors may be corrected post-submission.
CIDB contractor grading of 2EB or higher required. Must be registered on: Western Cape Supplier Database (enquiries: 021 833 5361 or [email protected]) and Central Supplier Database (self-register at https://secure.csd.gov.za/). Submit: Valid Tax Clearance Certificate, Proof of CIDB Registration (attached to Returnable Schedule Form B2), COID registration and proof of good standing (disclose all labour inspections/investigations from the past 36 months via Returnable Schedule Form C1), B-BBEE status level certificate (verified by a registered agency). Joint ventures: All members must be CIDB-registered; lead partner must have 2EB or higher grading; combined grading must meet tender requirements. Submit notarized joint venture agreements if requested.
