Joint ventures allowed if all members registered with CIDB and lead partner has 3CE or higher. Must be tax compliant with SARS. Cannot have directors/employees in service of the state. Must be registered on Central Suppliers Database.

• Project: Construction of additional covered parking at the eThekwini Infrastructure Management Hub.
• Contract period: 6 calendar months.
• CIDB grading requirement: Designation of 3CE or higher. No alternative class of work is anticipated.
• Scope of works includes: Construction works (detailed in C3.1), HIV/AIDS awareness specification, HIV/STI compliance report, and project-specific safety, health, and environmental specifications.
• Key documents: Bills of Quantities (C2.2), Scope of Works (C3.1), Site Information (C4.1), and relevant drawings and annexures.

• Submit a complete priced Bill of Quantities (T2.22).
• The total amount including VAT from the Final Summary of the Bill of Quantities must be carried to the 'Offer' section of the Form of Offer and Acceptance (T2.21).
• A bid bond or form of guarantee is required as per C1.3.
• Payment terms and financial capacity details are to be declared in T2.8 (Financial Standing and other resources of Business Declaration).

• Mandatory registrations:
• CIDB registration with a grading designation of 3CE or higher.
• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration number.
• Tax Compliance: Submit a Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN (T2.19) or a printed TCS certificate.
• B-BBEE: Preference points are claimed via SBD 6.1. 20 points allocated for specific goals (companies at least 51% Black-owned).
