• Supply and install complete guide rail system, supports, and brackets.

• Provide operator training, manuals, warranty, and as-built drawings.
• Provide 12 months of preventative maintenance.

• Design Basis:

• Location: MPL Lounge, Johannesburg City Hall.
• Stair Configuration: Two flights with an intermediate landing.
• Approximate Travel: 7.15 m (to be verified on site).
• Capacity: Minimum 300 kg.
• Platform Size: Minimum 800 x 1250 mm.
• Power: 230 V AC, single phase.
• Battery Backup: Minimum 10 trips.
• Warranty: Minimum 24 months.

• Technical Requirements: Commercial/public-use lift with automatic folding platform, upper/lower call stations, on-board controls, emergency stop, obstacle detection, overspeed protection, non-slip platform, and safety barriers. Installation must minimize impact on the heritage fabric.

• Installation must adhere to safety standards and minimize impact on the heritage building fabric.

• Contract terms include standard declarations from SBD forms.
• The bidder must certify that all information furnished is true and correct.
• The procuring institution reserves the right to verify claims and take action for fraudulent claims, including disqualification, cost recovery, contract cancellation, restriction from state business for up to 10 years, and criminal prosecution.
• The scope of work forms part of the contractual deliverables.

• Bidders must complete the SBD 4 Bidder's Disclosure, declaring any employment by an organ of state, relationships with procuring institution officials, and interests in other enterprises.
• Failure to disclose all CSD-registered active companies linked to directors will lead to disqualification.
