Review in progress
The information shown on this card is preliminary. Our procurement team is currently finalising the submission guidelines, evaluation criteria, technical specifications, financial requirements, and compliance sections so you have a clean, bid-ready summary to work from. Document being finalised: SBD 6.1...pdf. You don’t need to refresh — this page will pick up the updated review automatically.
Submission Guidelines
Source: SBD 6.1...pdfInclude the Preference Points Claim Form as part of the tender submission. Complete the form in accordance with the Preferential Procurement Regulations 2022 and attach all required proof/documentation for specific goals (e.g., B‑BBEE certificate, CSD report, disability verification). Sign the declaration confirming the accuracy of the points claimed. Failure to provide the required documentation will result in loss of specific‑goal points.
Evaluation Criteria
Source: SBD 6.1...pdfPoints are allocated as follows: total of 100 points – price points (80 or 90 points depending on whether the 80/20 or 90/10 system applies) and specific‑goal points (up to 20 points). The applicable preference system (80/20 or 90/10) will be determined after tender receipt based on the lowest or highest acceptable tender price. Specific‑goal points are awarded for black, youth and women ownership (5 points each) and Gauteng locality (5 points). Proof must be submitted to claim these points; otherwise they are not awarded.
Compliance Requirements
Source: SBD 6.1...pdfB‑BBEE ownership thresholds are required for point claims: black, youth and women ownership each need ≥50% to earn 5 points; Gauteng locality earns 5 points. Supporting documents such as B‑BBEE certificate, CSD report, disability verification, and proof of ownership must be submitted. Non‑compliance may lead to disqualification.
