thereafter all responsive proposals will be evaluated in accordance with the PPPFA regulations, 2022
using the 90/10 preference points system.
Specific goals
a) 5 points will be allocated to enterprises who are at least 51% Black Owned.
b) 5 points will be allocated to enterprises who are located in KZN.
In terms of the PPPFA 2000, sub section 2(1)(f), it is an objective criterion of this bid that all the

alterations of the TradeZone 1 buildings located within Dube TradePort TradeZone 1 precinct.
The TradeZone 1 Rehabilitation Project

In terms of the PPPFA 2000, sub section 2(1)(f), it is an objective criterion of this bid that all the
subcontractors (CPG - targeted enterprises on both professional service and construction service
providers) in this contract must be based in Kwa-Zulu Natal (KZN) - (i.e., must have proof of operating
offices in KZN).
a) 30% must be subcontracted to CPG partners that are at least 51% owned by black
people, are eligible to tender.
b) For subcontracting in (a)above, bidders are required to subcontract a CIDB (active)
grading contractor(s) designation of Grade 6 or lower.

weekdays (Mon – Fri) between 08h30 and 16h00. A non-refundable document fee of R1000.00 (one
thousand rands) must be paid via EFT and must be emailed in order for the Bid Documents to be sent
via email. No cash will be accepted, and proof of payment must be emailed to
[email protected] Please allow 2 days for funds to reflect in the account. DTPC will only
release documents once the payment has been cleared in its bank account. Payments must contain
the reference, “RFP/05/IFR/01/2026” and must clearly identify the Bidder, e.g. “ABC Consortium”.
