• Eskom may award to a panel of contractors (minimum 2, maximum 5).
• Payment terms: 30 days for contracts below R50 million (including VAT), 60 days for contracts above R50 million.
• Security for performance may require a performance bond or demand guarantee; select at least two Eskom-approved financial institutions.
• Subcontracting with subsidiaries must be declared to avoid fronting allegations.
• Cataloguing may be required; include line item in Pricing Schedule.
• Joint ventures must have agreement with joint and several liability, operate as single business entity, and have designated bank account.
