Must be registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD). Must be tax compliant (provide SARS PIN or TCS certificate). Foreign suppliers must meet specific tax presence criteria in RSA. No bids from persons in service of the state or their companies. Must submit a fully completed, signed bid by the deadline at the specified address.

• Scope: Printing and supplying 115 staff ID cards with lanyards on a once-off basis.
• Card Specifications:
• Material: Premium PVC plastic.
• Size: 86mm x 54mm.
• Print: Full-colour, high resolution, single or double-sided.
• Layout: White card with PRASA watermark and logo. To include employee name, SAP number, and department.
• Lanyard: PRASA blue with PRASA name printed, includes slot hole punch.
• Deliverables:
• A mock ID card must be submitted for approval before full consignment delivery.
• Staff list will be provided by PRASA.

• Complete the Pricing Schedule in Section 8 for item: 'Staff ID cards with lanyard', quantity 115 each.
• Include unit price, total amount, VAT (15%), and grand total.
• Do not deviate from the prescribed format.

• Pricing:
• Quote in South African Rand, inclusive of all taxes (VAT 15%).
• Use the provided Pricing Schedule (Section 8) exactly; deviation may render the bid non-responsive.
• Price must be firm; include cost breakdown and price escalation basis if applicable.
• Discounts will only be considered in final evaluation if unconditional.
• PRASA may negotiate a market-related price with the highest-scoring bidder(s) if the quoted price is not market-related.
• Payment Terms:
• PRASA will pay within 30 days of receiving a correct tax invoice.

• Mandatory Registrations and Certificates:
• Valid Tax Clearance Certificate (valid on closing date) and SARS PIN.
• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration number. Foreign suppliers without a local entity are exempt.
• Company registration documents.
• B-bbee:
• Submit B-BBEE Certificate/Affidavit or CIPC documents for scoring (Stage 1C).
• Specific goals points are allocated for 51% Black-Owned EME status.
• Other:
• Persons in the service of the state, or companies with such directors/members, are disqualified.
• Joint ventures/consortia must submit separate tax compliance documents for each party.

• Warranty: Supplier warrants items are fit for purpose and free from defects for one year from acceptance.
• Indemnity: Supplier indemnifies PRASA against claims arising from negligence, defective work, or intellectual property infringement.
• Subcontracting: Requires prior PRASA approval; the main contractor remains liable.
• Governing Law: South African law applies; parties submit to non-exclusive jurisdiction of South African courts.
• Bidder Disclosure: Bidders must declare any state employment, relationships with PRASA employees, or interests in other bidding entities.
