Scope of Work: Supply, installation, configuration, commissioning, support, and management of a fully managed enterprise-grade Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) solution for 36 months.

• Firewall Hardware: Supply and rental of NGFW appliance; install, configure, test, commission; migrate existing configurations; provide replacement hardware if needed; support site-to-site and remote-access VPN, stateful inspection, centralized management, security logging.
• Firewall Licensing: Include all licenses for 36 months: Unified Threat Protection (or equivalent), centralized management, logging, firmware/software updates. Security bundle must include: Intrusion Prevention System, Web Filtering, Application Control, DNS Security, SSL Inspection, Threat Intelligence Services, Advanced Threat Protection, Botnet Detection.
• Managed Firewall Security Services: Firewall configuration/administration, security policy management, configuration backup/restoration, change management, firmware/security patch management, security monitoring/incident management, performance monitoring, monthly security reviews, proactive threat detection.
• VPN Services: Configuration and management for up to 40 remote-access VPN users, user provisioning/deprovisioning, troubleshooting, secure connectivity management, monitoring/reporting.
• Support and Maintenance: Comprehensive remote and on-site support, fault diagnosis/resolution, software/hardware support, regular health checks, preventative maintenance, vendor escalation.
• Reporting: Monthly reports on security incidents, threat prevention, VPN usage, firewall performance, configuration changes, security improvement recommendations.

• Provide replacement hardware at no additional cost during contract if equipment fails.
• Ensure firewall supports: site-to-site/remote-access VPN, stateful inspection, centralized management/monitoring, security logging/reporting.
• Licensing must include all required features for 36 months.
• Managed services include configuration, policy management, backup, change management, patch management, monitoring, performance optimization, monthly reviews, proactive threat detection.
• VPN services for up to 40 users with provisioning, troubleshooting, security monitoring.

• All prices must be VAT inclusive.
• Pricing schedule must include: Firewall Hardware Rental (36 months), Firewall Licensing (36 months), Managed Firewall Security Services (36 months), Support and Maintenance (36 months).

• Pricing must be VAT inclusive and include all related costs.

• Submit a duly signed undertaking confirming availability of sufficient financial resources or access to short-term financing for project delivery.
• The entity reserves the right to negotiate for value for money.

Stage 1 (Disqualifying Compliance Requirements):

• No late submissions.

Stage 2 (Administrative Documents):

• Certified copy of director’s ID (not older than 3 months from closing).
• Proof of CIPC registration with document showing directors’ full names and ID numbers.
• Up-to-date municipal account/statement (not in arrears >90 days); if lessee, provide valid original/certified lease agreement.
• Company pricing on letterhead.
• Valid B-BBEE certificate/affidavit (failure forfeits specific goal points).
• Bank letter not older than 3 months.
• Valid Tax PIN.
• CSD report.
• Signed undertaking confirming financial capacity.
