Scoring: Non-responsive (0), Poor (20 for 1 tape), Average (40 for 2 tapes), Good (70 for all tapes), Excellent (80 for all tapes + repair capability). 2) Price and preference points (80/20 system). 80 points for price (lowest acceptable tender scores highest). 20 points for specific goals: 51% black owned (10 points), 40% black women owned (6 points), 51% black youth owned (4 points). Proof of evidence required: CSD Report, CIPC registration, ID copies, share certificates/register (if applicable), B-BBEE certificate/affidavit. Scope: Retrieve, store, and validate data from 78 LTO tapes (1.6TB each, data from 1980s) and 2195 Quantum DLT tapes (SPOT & Landsat data, data from 1970s). Requirements: 1) Retrieve data from tapes, including associated metadata. 2) Store retrieved data in SANSA-provided storage, organized by data/sensor type with metadata. 3) Test and validate retrieved data. 4) Repair corrupted data/tapes. 5) Provide a project plan for the entire project. 6) Submit a retrieval report detailing successes and failures. 7) Use own hardware for retrieval at the service provider’s premises. Pricing: Submit a completed Pricing Schedule (separate sealed envelope) with all costs included (no unspecified costs). Rates must cover travel and accommodation.
