Tenders will be opened on the same day in the Committee Room at 12:05. Late or unmarked Tenders will not be considered. Must provide a training certificate for the SCADA OPC driver interface (issued to the bidder or the designated programmer) or a signed intent letter with programmer details. 4. Must hold a valid SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN. 5. Must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD). 6. Must meet any B‑BBEE requirements as per the Municipality’s policy.

Framework Act (Act ) Regulations 2022; the George Municipality’s Supply Chain

Management Policy as well as the George Municipality’s Preferential procurement Policy,

where 80 points will be scored for price and 20 points for B-BBEE status and specific

goals. Refer to the Tender Data for detailed breakdown of the evaluation process.

The Municipality reserves the right to withdraw any Invitation to Tender and/or to

re-advertise or to reject any tender or to accept a part of it. The Municipality is not bound

to accept the lowest or any tender.
