Johannesburg Water seeks qualified service providers to perform under‑pressure drilling (wet‑tapping) on live water reticulation pipelines without interrupting flow. Scope includes drilling T‑piece holes in pipes up to 16 bar pressure, supplying all materials, labour, equipment, safety measures and associated accessories. Pipe types and sizes: mPVC CL16 (SANS 966‑Part 2) DN 20‑600 mm, mPVC CL16 (High Impact) SANS 1283 DN 20‑500 mm, AC pipes DN 63‑450 mm, HDPE PE100 PN 16 SDR 11 (SANS ISO 4427) DN 20‑600 mm, steel pipe Grade 42 (SANS 719) DN 900 mm and above, OPVC CL16 (SANS 16422) DN 63‑700 mm. Required accessories include cutting heads, 250‑micron epoxy‑coated clamps, drilling saws, ratchets and isolation valves (RSV up to 150 mm, larger sizes Wedge Gate valves) that must be SANS 664 certified and meet a 70 % local‑content requirement.

Provide unit prices for each pipe size and material as shown in the price schedule, indicating amounts exclusive of VAT and inclusive of VAT. The RFI does not require a bid bond, guarantee or specific payment terms.
