• A non-refundable tender charge of R500.00 must be paid into RBIDZ's Absa account: Branch Code 632005, Account No. 4072219190.

• Completed tenders must be sealed, endorsed with the contract number, and personally deposited in the official tender box at RBIDZ Complex, 4 Harbour Arterial, Alton, Richards Bay (GPS 28°46'50.3"S 32°00'54.0"E).
• Submission deadline is 28 August 2026 at 12:00. Late, telegraphic, telephonic, telex, electronic, or emailed submissions will not be accepted.
• Tenders will be opened publicly at the deadline.

• To obtain tender documents: Pay non-refundable R500 fee to RBIDZ Absa account (Branch 632005, Acc 4072219190) and email request to [email protected] with company details and tender reference.
• Submit completed tender: Seal and endorse with contract number; deposit personally in the RBIDZ tender box by 12:00 on 28 August 2026.

Companies must be B-BBEE Level 1, 2, or 3 as per the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act and Codes of Good Practice; must submit proof of payment for tender documents; must meet minimum 70% functionality threshold during evaluation.

• Scope: Appointment of a service provider to supply, deliver, configure camera systems and upgrade the access control.
• Detailed specifications are contained in the tender documents, which must be obtained as per the submission guidelines.

• B-BBEE Requirement: Only companies with a B-BBEE Status Level of 1, 2, or 3 are eligible to tender.
• Tenderers must comply with the RBIDZ Preferential Procurement Policy, the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act, and its associated Codes of Good Practice.
• Tenders are subject to a compliance assessment as the first stage of evaluation.

• Eligibility is restricted to enterprises with a B-BBEE Status Level of 1, 2, or 3.

• Evaluation follows compliance assessment, functionality, then price and preference on an 80/20 system.
• Minimum 70% functionality score required to proceed.
• Failure to meet minimum functionality leads to disqualification.
