Eligible bidders must demonstrate refractory industry experience: at least 5 years in refractory foundries/smelters (full points for >10 years), specify a delivery lead‑time (preferably ≤2 weeks), and provide evidence of three completed 4‑ton preshape projects for foundry/smelter clients with contact details and values. Valid SARS tax clearance certificate and B‑BEE status documentation (or affidavit for EME) are required; non‑submission of B‑BEE proof results in zero preference points.

adjudicated or at any time subsequently, to substantiate any claim in regard to specific

goals, in any manner required by the purchaser.

4. Evaluation

4.1. Phase 1- Functionality Evaluation / Technical Evaluation

6.9. The supplier shall under no circumstances offer, promise or make any gift, payment,

loan, reward, inducement, benefit or other advantage, which may be construed as

being made to solicit any favour, to any Necsa employee or its representatives. Such

an act shall constitute a material breach of the Agreement and the Necsa shall be

entitled to terminate the Agreement forthwith, without prejudice to any of its rights
