Supply, deliver, and install aluminium doors at the Irene Weather Office (located on ARC premises, Main Road, Gauteng). Work includes removing existing wooden doors/frames and installing new aluminium doors/frames as per Annexure H specifications.

Scope: Supply, deliver, and install aluminium doors at Irene Weather Office. Specific tasks: Remove existing wooden doors and frames; supply and install double aluminium doors with aluminium frames (2 units); supply and install 1 x double aluminium door on existing steel frame (paint frame to match); supply and install 2 x single aluminium doors on existing steel frames (paint frames to match). All work must comply with specifications in Annexure H.

Complete Annexure G (Pricing Schedule) with itemised costs in ZAR, inclusive of VAT. Include: total price per item, delivery period, brand/model, country of origin, and any additional costs. For non-firm prices, provide a breakdown of price factors (e.g., labour, transport) and indices for escalation. For foreign currency components, specify financial institution, currencies, exchange rates, and remittance details. Adjustments for rate of exchange variations will use average monthly bank rates.

Pricing must be in South African Rand (ZAR) and inclusive of VAT. Submit a detailed pricing schedule (Annexure G) for each item, including total price. Specify delivery period after acceptance, brand/model of items, country of origin, and any additional costs. For non-firm prices, provide a breakdown of price factors (e.g., labour, transport) and indices for escalation calculations. For foreign currency components, provide financial institution details, currencies used, and exchange rate adjustments. Payments will be settled within 30 days of invoice receipt.

Tax Compliance: Submit a Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN (via SARS e-filing) or a printed TCS certificate. If no TCS PIN is available, provide a Central Supplier Database (CSD) number. Foreign suppliers must complete the questionnaire in Annexure A if not liable for South African tax. B-BBEE: Submit a B-BBEE Status Level Verification Certificate or sworn affidavit (for EMEs/QSEs) to qualify for preference points. Joint ventures/consortia must submit a signed teaming agreement and separate compliance documents for each party. Bidders must not be state employees, directors of state-employed companies, or listed on the Register for Tender Defaulters or Restricted Suppliers.

Contract is subject to General Conditions of Contract (GCC) revised by National Treasury in July 2010. SAWS reserves the right to: reject non-compliant bids, request additional information, conduct site inspections, cancel the bid under specific conditions, or award partially/fully. Successful bidders must conclude a Service Level Agreement (SLA) for performance monitoring. Payment terms: 30 days from invoice receipt. Subcontracting requires proof of agreement between main tenderer and subcontractor.

Evaluation follows the 80/20 preference point system: 80 points for price (calculated using Ps = 80(1 - (Pt - Pmin)/Pmin)), 20 points for B-BBEE status level (Level 1: 20 points, Level 8: 2 points, Non-compliant: 0). Shortlisted bidders may be required to present their service offering. SAWS may conduct site visits to validate capacity and infrastructure.
