Iziko museums of cape town is requesting quotations for the supply of stretch, plain, and branded poly-cotton tablecloths in black, including artwork, branding, and delivery to cape town cbd. This RFQ is open to compliant suppliers with valid documentation.

Three parts to the order: Part 1: 80 stretch tablecloths, black, for tables sized 740(H) x 600(L) x 1800(W) mm (reference image provided). Part 2: 10 plain black tablecloths, poly-cotton blend, 300cm x 220cm, no branding. Part 3: 20 branded tablecloths, poly-cotton blend, black, 300cm x 220cm, with full-colour co-branded logo (sublimation print). Logo must not be stretched, proofs required for client approval, and quotation must include artwork/branding + delivery to Cape Town CBD. Client will provide the logo.
Submit a formal detailed quotation with the proposal. Pricing must include all applicable costs (e.g., artwork, branding, delivery to Cape Town CBD) and VAT. No cost variations allowed after award. Payment is based on deliverables received and invoices approved by the project manager. Offer must remain valid for 60 days from the bid closing date. The lowest or only quotation will not necessarily be accepted. Iziko reserves the right to reject any quotation or withdraw the RFQ at any time.
Service providers are required to submit quotation for plain black stretch tablecloths on behalf of iziko museums of south africa.

Iziko Museums of South Africa (Iziko) is a schedule 3A public entity and non-profit organisation, partly
subsidised by the National Department of Sport, Arts & Culture (DSAC), bringing together 11 national
museums and a Social History Centre situated in the Western Cape under a single governance and
leadership structure. Iziko was established in terms of the Cultural Institutions Act, 1998 (Act No. ) and is required to comply with the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), 1999 (Act No. , as amended) and its concomitant Regulations.
a) The proposal and appended documentation read together form the basis for an agreement to
be negotiated and concluded in a formal contract between Iziko and the preferred Service
i) confirms that neither the name of the enterprise or the name of any partner, manager, director or
other person, who wholly or partly exercises, or may exercise, control over the enterprise appears on
the Register of Tender Defaulters established in terms of the Prevention and Combating of Corrupt
Activities Act of 2004;
ii) confirms that no partner, member, director or other person, who wholly or partly exercises, or may
exercise, control over the enterprise appears, has within the last five years been convicted of fraud
or corruption;
iii) confirms that I / we are not associated, linked or involved with any other tendering entities submitting

6. Formal Contract
a) The proposal and appended documentation read together form the basis for an agreement to
be negotiated and concluded in a formal contract between Iziko and the preferred Service
Provider.
b) A mere offer and acceptance shall not constitute a formal contract of any nature for any purpose
between Iziko and the preferred Service Provider/s.
7. General Principles
a) The lowest or only quotation received will not necessarily be accepted.
b) Iziko and its Council reserves the right to accept or reject any quotation in response to the
Request to Quote and to withdraw its decision to seek the provision of these services at any
time.
