1. Prepare a repair and fitment procedure (Quality Assurance Plan) for Johannesburg Water’s

approval

2. Prepare Quality Control Plan (QCP) for Johannesburg Water’s approval
3. Implement QA and QC plan after approval by Johannesburg Water (JW hold points to be

observed strictly)

4. Remove the wheels from the tractor and FEL
5. Prepare the tractor tyre for repair
6. Repair the tractor tyre as per QA/QC plan
7. Supply and deliver 12 x FEL tyres as per specification.
8. Inflate the tyres to the pressure recommended by the OEM and as per QA/QC plan.
9. Fit the tyres and install the wheels back on the tractor and FEL as per QA/QC plan.
10. Test, commission and handover to Johannesburg Water (including QA/QC pack).
11. Warranty on repaired tractor tyre 3 months.
12. Warranty on new FEL tyres 12 months.

Pricing Instructions

1. Item 1 and 2 in the BoQ to include all consumables, transport, material, labour, equipment, tools,

compressor and other things deemed necessary by the bidder for the successful repair of the

wheel tyre and supply of new FEL tyres and fitment.

2. Item 3 in the BoQ to include all the items of the QA and QC plans. Transport and meetings (virtual

or physical) which may be required must be included in the price. Bidder to note that the physical

repairs will not start until QA and QC plans are completed and approved.

3. Item 4 to cover all the necessary items for full compliance with the safety requirements.
