• Download the full bid document from www.uthukelawater.co.za (available from 03 February 2026).
• Complete all required forms and ensure the bid is sealed and clearly marked “BID NO: LAB2026‑BID‑002 SUPPLY, DELIVERY AND ASSEMBLING OF LABORATORY FURNITURE” with the bidder’s name and address on the back of the envelope.
• Deliver the sealed envelope to the official tender box at uThukela Water (Pty) Ltd, 79 Harding Street, Reception, Newcastle, by 15:00 on Wednesday 25 February 2026.
• Late submissions, faxed or emailed bids will be rejected.
• Only suppliers registered on the National Treasury Supplier Database (CSD) are eligible to bid; registration is via www.csd.gov.za.

• Bids will be evaluated using an 80/20 point system as per the Preferential Procurement Regulations 2022.
• 80 % of the score is based on technical compliance; 20 % on price.
• Preference points (up to 20 %) may be awarded for claimed preferential procurement goals.
• The Entity reserves the right to accept all, some, or none of the tenders and is not obliged to accept the lowest price.

Supply, delivery and assembling of laboratory furniture as defined in the bid documents. Scope includes provision of all items listed, transportation to the site, and on‑site assembly in accordance with uThukela Water’s specifications and applicable standards.

Bids must remain valid for 90 days after the closing date. No specific bond or guarantee is mentioned in the notice; bidders should follow any additional financial instructions contained in the downloaded bid documents.
