Submit bids in a sealed envelope marked: ‘TENDER NUMBER: T10/2026; Description: Provision of Short Term Insurance for a Period of 36 Months’. Place in the Bid Box at 67 Nojoli Street, Somerset East. Closing date: 12 June 2026 by 12h00. Late submissions will not be accepted. Requirements: bids must be completed in black ink, signed, and submitted in hard copy (no facsimile or electronic submissions). All tender forms, data sheets, and supplementary information must be completed and submitted. Bids must remain valid for 90 days. Non-compliance with any of these will result in disqualification.

Evaluation occurs in two phases. Phase 1: Functionality (100 points total, minimum 80 required to proceed). Criteria: Experience (50 points), Expertise (30 points), Methodology (20 points). Phase 2: 80/20 preferential points system. 80 points for bid price, 20 points for Specific Goals (HDI status: Race 5, Gender 5, Disability 5, Youth 5). Evidence for Specific Goals must be provided as per clause 1.2.26 of the Bid Document. No evidence means no points.

Mandatory compliance: Registration on CSD Supplier Database with Tax Compliant Status. Submission of Certificate of Good Standing from the local municipality. Compliance with Blue Crane Route Municipality Supply Chain Management Policy. Completion of Section 4.4 (Authority of Signatory) in the bid document.
