Tender is for the supply, delivery and off-loading of aerator gearboxes at the Wastewater Treatment Works (WWTW), as and when required for a period of three years

If the tenderer is the Engineering Manufacturer (OEM) or Agent for the equipment, the tenderer must submit the following: • A letter from the Agent of the OEM stating that the tenderer is the Agent in South Africa or OEM for the equipment offered. If the tenderer is not the Agent or OEM for the equipment, the tenderer must submit either of the following in addition to the OEM letter to Agent above: • The quotation of the equipment obtained from the Agent/OEM clearly addressed to the tenderer and stating the date and the rate of exchange that the quotation is based for imported contents. OR A letter from the Agent/OEM clearly addressed to the tenderer stating the date that the tenderer has obtained a quotation from the Agent/OEM AND stating the rate of exchange that the quotation is based on, for imported contents. 5. A copy of the ISO 9001 certification for the manufacture of gearbox by the manufacturer. 6 The Tender’s company bank rating of C with the minimum value of R 2 500 000. STAGE 3: TECHNICAL EVALUATION. The technical evaluation will be conducted by reviewing the following information provided: • Information given in schedule of particulars and requirements as stated in clause 3.1.2.3 are compliant with specifications. • The information given in mandatory requirements item 2 with regards to the specification requirements have been met. VALIDITY PERIOD The validity period for the tender after closure is 90 days. CoT shall have right and power to extent any tender validity period beyond any initial validity period set and subsequent extensions. SCM shall ensure that an extension of validity is requested in writing from all bidders before the validity expiry date.
