Sealed envelopes marked with the tender number must be placed in the bid box at the Municipality's Offices, Stand Number 24, Mthombomuhle (Kwaggafontein C), no later than 12h00 on the closing date.

The 80/20 preferential procurement system applies: 80 points for price and 20 points for specific goals, in line with the Preferential Procurement Regulations of 2022.

• No award will be made to a person in the service of the state, or to a juristic person where any director, manager, principal shareholder or stakeholder is in the service of the state, or to an advisor or consultant contracted with the municipality or a municipal entity.
• Returnable forms include SBD 4 (Declaration of Interest), SBD 6.1 (Preference Points Claim), SBD 8 (Declaration of Bidder's Past Supply Chain Management Practices), and SBD 9 (Certificate of Independent Bid Determination).

Scope: appointment of a panel of contractors for rehabilitation, refurbishment and maintenance of water and sanitation municipal infrastructure, as and when required, for a period of 36 months.
