Scope: Supply, deliver, install, commission, and maintain a municipal diesel generator at Gateway. Required personnel: Diesel mechanic (QCTO trade test + 3-year experience), Installation Electrician (Wireman’s License + C.O.C capability + 3-year experience), Safety Officer (SAMTRAC/NOSA + 3-year OHS experience). Methodology must include: Approach, Timeframes, Activities (construction sequence), Construction Administration, Quality Management, Risk Management, and Occupational Health & Safety.

Relevant Experience: Submit letters of appointment and completion certificates or reference letters for generator installation, maintenance, or repair projects (3+ projects = 30 points, 2 projects = 15 points). Personnel Expertise: Diesel mechanic with QCTO trade test + 3-year experience (10 points), Installation Electrician with Wireman’s License + C.O.C capability + 3-year experience (10 points), Safety Officer with SAMTRAC/NOSA + 3-year OHS experience (10 points). Bidders must score 100% on Expertise segments.

Price validity period: 90 days from submission.

Mandatory documents: CSD registration (proof required), MBD 4, 8, 6.1 & 9 forms, Municipal rates certificate (directors/owners/shareholders/company, no arrears >90 days), valid lease agreements (office space and director accommodation if applicable), affidavit (if municipal account is under family members), marriage certificate (if account is under spouse), Certificate of Authority to sign documents (on company letterhead). B-BBEE: Specific Goals include RDP Goals (SA ownership verification via CIPC/CSD) and Promotion of Business (KZN-based address verified via CSD, utility bill, or Induna/Chief/Ward Councillor letter).
