Closed Tenders

• Submit the bid in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the bidder’s name, address, bid number and closing date. Failure to do so will disqualify the proposal. • Use only the official sbd forms (sbd1, sbd4, etc.) Provided – do not re‑type the forms. • All forms must be completed in detail, signed in original with black ink and returned with the bid. • Include the original signed sbd1 form and attach your central supplier database (csd) registration number on IT. • if you are a sole agent/supplier, indicate either your market price after discount to other clients or your percentage net profit before tax. • Bids must be delivered to the bid box at 6th floor, 17 van rensburg street, block e, bateleur building, nelspruit (open 24 hours daily). Late bids will not be accepted. • Bid validity period is 90 days from the closing date. • Any deviation from the required forms, envelope labeling or delivery address may result in disqualification.

• Complete the form of offer & acceptance (c1.1) And sign by an authorised representative. • Include all returnable documents listed in the contract data; a covering letter must not be part of the final contract. • Submit the original signed offer and one copy of the schedule of deviations (if any) to the employer before the validity period expires (period for reply is two (2) weeks from receipt of the contract data). • Within two weeks of receiving the fully signed agreement, contact the employer’s agent (details in contract data) to arrange delivery of any required securities, bonds, guarantees or proof of insurance. • Failure to provide the required securities or to submit the offer within the reply period will be treated as repudiation and may lead to disqualification. • If you wish to submit an alternative tender, use a separate copy of the form of offer & acceptance.

• Submit the tender electronically via the ESKOM e‑tendering site; NO hard copies accepted. • All documents must be uploaded in pdf format, with the price list also provided in excel. Each file ≤ 50 mb; total upload ≤ 900 mb. • Do not upload zip or compressed files. • Upload documents into the designated folders: technical, commercial, financial, and other. • Deadline: 24 feb 2026 at 10:00 hrs. Late submissions will be rejected. • If you re‑upload, only the latest version will be considered; earlier uploads become null and void. • Indicate the submission status as “complete” in the e‑tendering system. • Mandatory returnables (disqualifying if not submitted on time) include annexures a‑k listed in the tender (authorisation form, acknowledgement form, tenderer’s particulars, integrity declaration, cpa forms, local content declarations, sbd 1, preference points claim form, bidders disclosure, tax evaluation questionnaire, etc.). • Non‑disqualifying returnables must be submitted by the closing date; if missing, the procuring entity may request them within 5 working days. • Ensure you have a valid central supplier database (csd) registration number and that all required signatures are present.

• Register on the ESKOM etendering portal using a valid csd number, email and mobile number. • Complete all registration fields, including a picture verification, and verify the registration email. • Log in and enter the otp sent to your phone/email. • Select the relevant REF NO for the transformer disposal tender. • Click “create new submission” and use “add file” to upload required documents, assigning each file to the correct category (technical, commercial, finance, etc.). • Ensure each file name is clear and does not exceed 50 mb; total upload size must be ≤ 900 mb. • After all documents are uploaded, click “finalize submission” then “finalise and close submission”. • A confirmation email with the submission ID will be sent – keep IT for any future enquiries. • Disqualification risks: failure to register, missing otp verification, exceeding file size limits, not uploading all required categories, or not finalising the submission.
